Workshops
Do I need any experience?
Not at all. Most of our guests have never made a candle before. We guide you every step of the way.
What's included?
All materials, personal guidance, our full scent collection, a drink and a treat, and your own candle to take home. Each experience page lists exactly what's included.
How long does it take?
About 1.5 to 2 hours. Nobody rushes you.
Can I come alone?
Yes, and many guests do. It's a lovely gift to yourself.
Which languages do you host in?
English, Dutch and Sranan Tongo.
Where are you?
Van Roseveltkade 36, Paramaribo. Free parking along the Van Roseveltkade. Open in Google Maps for directions.
What are your opening hours?
Studio: Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 14:00. On tour and outside the studio: Monday to Sunday, time on request.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Free rescheduling up to 48 hours before your session.
Does submitting a booking confirm my seat?
Your seat is reserved straight away. Pay by card or iDEAL during booking and you're confirmed right away. Prefer a bank transfer? Our account details are in your confirmation email; please pay within 48 hours and your booking is confirmed once we receive it.
Corporate gifts
What is the minimum order?
Minimums differ per gift; some gifts have no minimum. The Owru Yari Collection has a minimum of 10 per gift. From 10 pieces, delivery within Greater Paramaribo is included for the Signature Box, Grani Luxe, Owru Yari Box and Nyun Yari Luxe.
When does production start?
Production starts once you approve your label text by email. If we add your logo, you approve a digital proof first.
How long does it take?
5 working days for gifts with card and ribbon, 2 to 3 weeks for personalised gifts and orders from 20 pieces, 6 to 8 weeks for your own brand scent and orders from 50 gifts.
How do I pay?
50% deposit on confirmation and the balance after delivery, by bank transfer, with an invoice in your company name. Payment in SRD at the daily rate is possible.
The Scent Circle
Is membership free?
Yes. Join online or at the studio and receive 25 welcome Wicks and your Scent Passport.
How do I collect Wicks?
1 Wick for every € 1 you spend on workshops and products, plus bonus Wicks for your birthday, a Google review, the quiz, sharing your candle and bringing friends.
Do my Wicks expire?
After 12 months without activity. One visit or purchase keeps them alive.
Shop
How does delivery work?
We deliver every Tuesday & Friday between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Delivery fee SRD 150 (Central Paramaribo). Payment in SRD at our current exchange rate is possible.
Can I shop in person?
Yes, at our boutique retail partners Teasee (Van Roseveltkade #36, Paramaribo) and the Torarica Gift Shop (Mr. L.J. Rietbergplein, Paramaribo).
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We're working on it and will announce it as soon as it's available.
Can I return a product?
Only if it arrives damaged. Let us know within 48 hours of delivery, with a photo, and we'll make it right. Personalised products cannot be returned.
